Is technology making us better or worse at communicating with each other? How so?

I need help too start a non-profit org on Pancreatic Cancer My reason for doing this is I am living with this since august 2009 when I was diagnosed. I must learn where too start, theres a lot I can aware people about how we get this deadly disease and how it can be fought.
